This Australian website provides valuable self-help resources on a number of topics including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, perfectionism and procrastination.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists the main professional organisation of psychiatrists in the United Kingdom. This site provides a series of helpful leaflets for the general public on common mental health issues: Anorexia and Bulimia; Bereavement; Depression; Sleep Problems; Memory Problems; Anxiety and Phobias; Schizophrenia; Stress; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Suicide Prevention
The Listening Place
This is a charity for people who feel that life is no longer worth living i.e. have suicidal thoughts. They offer face to face 50 minute appointment every fortnight where they can talk about their feeling without judgement or advice to a volunteer. It is based in Pimlico., referrals@listeningplace.org.uk

The Samaritans is a UK charity which exists to provide confidential non-judgmental emotional support to anyone who is experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide.
The Samaritans can be contacted on Freephone 116 123 at any time, including over Christmas and the New Year when they offer a 24-hour phone service.
